Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take my insurance?
At Spotlight Physical Therapy, we put quality care above all else. We are a cash-based practice, meaning we do not accept insurance, and are therefore not confined by the constraints of traditional insurance.
Why choose cash-pay PT when I have insurance?
Traditional, insurance-based healthcare often falls short when it comes to musculoskeletal recovery. It’s built around billing codes and time limits—not your personal goals or long-term health. That’s why we do things differently.
At Spotlight PT, we are focused on YOU, not insurance.
Our model is centered on personalized, one-on-one care tailored to your unique needs and lifestyle. No cookie-cutter plans. No rushed appointments. No insurance-driven restrictions.
The results speak for themselves.
More effective, individualized treatment, fewer sessions needed, faster return to doing what you love, greater long-term outcomes, time and cost savings in the long run.
Do you accept HSA(Health savings account) or FSA (flexible spending account)?
Yes, Physical therapy is considered a qualified medical expense, which means you can absolutely use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for your sessions at Spotlight Physical Therapy.
Do I need a referral from a doctor to start physical therapy?
No referral is needed to get started! Texas is a direct access state, which means you can start PT without seeing a doctor first. If we determine PT is appropriate for you, we can treat you for up to 10 business days without a referral. After that period, if further care is needed, a referral from a qualified healthcare provider is required.
